“Words, words. They're all we have to go on.”

“Meet Rosencrantz & Guildenstern. They’re…well, who are they? Honestly, sometimes even they’re not so sure. Join Shakespeare’s most loveable (minor) characters as they muddle their way through one existential crisis after another. In this brilliant philosophical comedy, set against the backdrop of the most famously morose play of all time, playwright Tom Stoppard muses on life, death, and the statistical probability of coin tosses, flipping seamlessly between hilarity and poignancy.”

Cave Theatre Co.’s production of Tom Stoppard’s Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead was performed on the Waterfront Museum & Historic Barge in Red Hook, Brooklyn, from October 12th-27th, 2018. The production was directed by James Masciovecchio, and the cast featured Esther Ayomide Akinsanya (Hamlet), Jessie Atkinson (Guildenstern), Khalid Bilal (Claudius / Tragedian), Rosie DeSantis (Horatio / Tragedian), Alex Etling (Rosencrantz), Sarah Joy Gugel (Ambassador / Tragedian), David Hernandez III (Alfred / Gertrude), Garrett Lyons (Ophelia / Tragedian), AJ McDougall (Polonius / Tragedian), and Arshia Panicker (The Player).
