2020 has been a challenging year for theatre artists to create their art and share it with the world, but those challenges have created an environment for innovation and growth. So to continue to share new, powerful stories with you, Cave Theatre Co. is producing a podcast!

Our artistic director - James Masciovecchio - has adapted the dystopian, 1950s sci-fi novel "The Chrysalids" by John Wyndham, and we can't wait to share this timely story of outcasts and societal othering with you.

David is just like you. He has ten fingers, ten toes, two arms, two legs... David looks perfect in eyes of his community, and more importantly, in the eyes of God. He fits the “True Image”.

David is not like you. David has a secret, a mutation. In a world of religious and genetic purity - in a society climbing back from annihilation - how can you be certain that what you are, is what was meant to be?
